Rimu Walk
This walk follows a short World Heritage trail under pristine sub-alpine mountain forest on a clear and sunny afternoon. You begin the walk in open canopy near the soothing Mangawhero river and then slowly venture into denser and more magnificent woodland. You pause several times to take in scenes of particular beauty and to read the elevated plaques detailing the circle of life in an ancient forest. All-natural audio captured during the walk.
