Enjoy Pāpāmoa Beach glittering on a beautiful sunny spring afternoon. You begin your walk at the top of a planted dune. Wander down the sandy path and enjoy the wild flowers.

You turn north and walk towards famous Mt Maunganui while taking in the clear waters and pleasant waves.

A small river in the sand leads to a fallen log bridge and a flock of noisy gulls on the other side. Dip your toes in the water and wade out to a shallow sand bar to watch reflected waves merge.

Back on dry land the walk ends by contemplating the clear waters and beautiful sound of breaking waves.
